Who we are

One team, from the drawing board to the working plant

OCEAN Engineering & Investment develops and delivers integrated engineering, industrial and environmental projects, backed by a multidisciplinary team.

Our strength is our team's experience in engineering design, steel structures, modern slaughterhouses, chilling and freezing, wastewater and waste treatment, and turning organic waste into biogas.

We start by studying each project's needs and preparing concepts and technical designs, then coordinate supply, fabrication and installation through to construction and fit-out, with close attention to quality, safety, operating efficiency and the environment.

Meat cold storage

Cold chains that protect every cut

We design, supply and build meat chilling and freezing stores that protect quality and safety, extend shelf life and run efficiently.

Rooms of every size and capacity, with high-efficiency insulation, industrial refrigeration units and precise control of temperature and humidity, matched to the products stored and the demands of the food supply chain.

Our solutions also cover chillers for hanging carcasses, meat preparation and handling areas, loading and unloading, and monitoring that keeps conditions stable throughout storage.

  • Fresh meat chilling rooms

Chilled meat held at the right temperatures, in line with health requirements.

  • Meat freezing stores

Long-term freezing, designed around the products and capacity required.

  • Carcass hanging systems

Fittings for hygienic, efficient storage and handling.

  • Insulation panels

Sandwich panels that cut heat loss and energy use.

  • Industrial refrigeration

Units sized for the performance and reliability you need.

  • Control & monitoring

Temperatures tracked, with an alarm when limits are crossed.

  • Design & build

Study, supply, installation and commissioning in one contract.

Wastewater & waste treatment

Turning slaughterhouse waste into clean water and energy

We design and build systems that treat the wastewater from slaughter, processing and cleaning, and put organic waste to work as biogas.

Water lineFrom wastewater to reuse

  1. Blood & fat removalRecovered at source
  2. Suspended solidsScreened and separated
  3. Physical-chemicalTreatment stage
  4. BiologicalTreatment stage
  5. Treated water reuseTo the required quality

Energy lineFrom organic waste to power

  1. Organic wasteFrom slaughter operations
  2. Sludge treatmentStabilised and reduced
  3. Anaerobic digestionBiodegradable fraction
  4. BiogasRenewable energy, less waste to dispose of
  • Treatment plant design

Sized to the slaughterhouse's capacity and its wastewater.

  • Organic waste treatment

Managing slaughter waste and safely recovering resources.

  • Biogas production

Anaerobic digestion that turns waste into energy.

  • Treated water reuse

Reuse for suitable purposes once quality is met.

  • Environmental management

Less pollution and support for compliance.

Waste is not just an environmental burden. Managed and treated correctly, it is a resource, and a traditional slaughterhouse can become a cleaner, more efficient plant.

Why choose OCEAN

Engineered for the field, ready for the future

  • Built to resist

Hot-dip galvanised from end to end, unafraid of humidity or salinity, for a life of up to 20 years.

  • Even water, higher yields

I-WOB spray heads and pressure regulators give better than 90% uniformity, so water and fertiliser reach every plant.

  • Any terrain

A flexible truss structure follows rolling land and climbs slopes of up to 30%.

  • Smart and unattended

Restarts on its own after a water or power cut, is controlled remotely from a phone and works through the night.

  • Scale your farm

One machine covers vast areas, freeing labour and making farm management data-driven.
